Inequality.org is a project of the Institute for Policy Studies that analyzes wealth inequality in the United States.
Shortly after rebranding the Institute's visual identity, the editors at Inequality.org approached me to redesign their logo to coincide with the launch of their redesigned website. They desired a logo that was simple, modern, and visually unified with the Institute's new branding — and something not so different that their readership would be thrown off by a new look.
I met the editors' needs by dropping the three-dimensional, gradated look, and instead integrated the descending bar chart with the rest of the logo in a flat, simple design.
